class policies

Classes fill quickly! We carefully limit class size to ensure each student receives plenty of personal attention.

Payment in full prior to class is required and is non-refundable.

Missed Classes may not be made up by attendance at a later course.

All yarn for classes and projects must be purchased at The Peace of Yarn. You are welcome to use needles and accessories from your personal collection.

"Required Skills" are critical. Please read each class description to make sure that you are signing up for your appropriate level class.  Individuals who do not have the required skills can only be assisted as time permits.

Cancellations:  We reserve the right to cancel a class in the event that fewer than four individuals register for a class. In this event, class fees will be refunded.

Required Skills for All Classes: You must be able to long-tail cast on, knit, purl, and bind off without assistance. You must be able to recognize knit and purl stitches as well as garter stitch and stockinette stitch. For the sock classes, you must know SSK. If you are not sure of any of the above, we will be happy to assist you PRIOR to class!
